A small list of resources for those interested in understanding Hindu philosophy

Online resources:

http://www.himalayanacademy.com/resources/books/  - There are many online books published by Himalayan Academy that will be enriching to your study. Dancing with Siva is a good place to start to get an overview of Hindu philosophy in general.

http://www.hinduseaerchengine.com   - This is a search engine that I have created if you want access to targeted information, if you want other good sources of information on the many aspects of Hinduism from sites that I have handpicked for relevance and quality of information.
Books on Amazon.com that I recommend:

Idiots Guide to Hinduism: One of the easiest book to help with understanding the complexities of Hinduism that many beginners to Hinduism face.

Essentials of Hinduism: More technical or academic in its approach if this is what you are looking for.

What is Hinduism: Taken from thematic research done on Hindu Subjects from "Festivals" to "Salvation", a wealth of a resource in Hindu philosophy and culture as it is practiced today.
